Return Policy
What is your return policy?
All items may be returned within ten days of delivery. There are certain limitations however. The limitations are as follows:
- Items marked as "Closeout" are not returnable.
- We cannot accept items that are not in the original condition. The returned items must be unaltered, undamaged, and in factory condition. Additionally, all tags and packaging must be included.
- Due to the nature of the hairgoods industry, we find it necessary to charge a 10% restocking fee. (For example if you made a purchase of $60.00 plus tax, but then changed your mind after receiving the order, there would be a $6.00 charge).
- Also, we do not offer refunds! The credit issued is good towards exchanges or store credit only (store credit is good forever).
- *Please note*: The above limitations do not apply if the shipment is not what you ordered or is defective.
How do I return items I am not satisfied with?
- If at any time within 10 days of receiving your order you are not satisfied with your purchase, mail it back to us. Contact us by email for the return shipping address and authorization.
- Can I just send it back without contacting you?

What are my shipping options?
If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the United States, please contact us to find out the exact shipping methods and charges.

UPS Ground - Our basic shipping method. Not available for shipments outside the continental U.S. For domestic web orders weighing up to 2 pounds, we charge a flat rate of $7.95. The shipping charges for oversize items (like long-neck styro heads) and orders weighing more than 2 pounds may be more than $7.95. After receiving such an order, we will calculate the exact shipping charge and update the order with the revised amount. We will contact you by either email or telephone to let you know. Bear in mind that we will never charge more than our actual cost.

Post Office - We ship U.S. Post office, but charge the same price that UPS would charge. (This is because even though the post office is a little cheaper than UPS, it is more trouble for us). International orders ship U.S.

Federal Express - If you want your package shipped Federal Express, please supply us with your Fed Ex account number.

UPS Air - We offer Three Day, Two Day, Next Day, and Next Day Saturday at your request. The most popular of these is UPS Two Day Air, which only costs about five dollars more than UPS Ground and cuts delivery time in half on shipments to the East Coast. Air mail is the only way UPS will ship to Alaska and Hawaii.
- Drop Ship - If we do not have an item in stock, we might be able to drop ship it to you directly from the manufacturer. The charge for this service is $35.00 per manufacturer. We will do this only at your request. Drop shipping a package will usually speed up delivery by one to two days.
When can I expect my package to be shipped out?

If we have the item in stock, which we frequently do (we have over one hundred thousand items in stock), it will ship the same day or the next day. If we do not have the item in stock, it will ship out on the day that we receive it. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

If we do not have the item, we will order it from the manufacturer that same day. It usually takes one to three business days for the merchandise to reach us.

Occasionally neither we nor the manufacturer has the item in stock, in which case there is an additional delay. Usually the delay is less than two weeks, but on very rare occasions it can be three or more months. If the delay is more than one week we will notify you.
- If we do not have the item in stock, most manufacturers can "drop ship" the package directly to you. This can speed up the delivery by one or two days. The charge for this service is $35.00 per manufacturer. We generally don't recommend drop ships involving more than one manufacturer—it's just too expensive. But if you really need an order as soon as possible, it's an option to consider.
When can I expect my package to arrive?
When do I have to place my order to have it shipped that day?
- All orders placed through our web site are processed the next business day. If you are in a great rush, items that are currently in stock will be shipped the same day if the order is called in by phone before 3:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time.
- Also please note that not all colors are in stock, if your order is back-ordered with the supplier an additional 7 to 10 days delay may occur. We will email or call with that information.
What if my package is damaged when it is delivered?
- If your package arrives damaged, you may refuse delivery at no cost to you. If you receive damaged merchandise, please contact us immediately.
